Darcy

Hi! My name is Darcy and I'm a 10 month old Rottie weighing in at 55 pounds. I came from a shelter in Angleton where my time on death-row was up but the nice folks there noticed how super sweet I am so they contacted Scout's Honor and they've taken me under their wing. I have been spayed, up to date on shots and am heartworm negative, YAY!! My foster parents say I'm as happy go lucky as can be, I love everyone and all dogs, I even met a cat and he seemed to be fine with me. I like to show my affection to people and dogs by licking hands or snouts. My absolute favorite time of day is when we go for walk and I can smell a lot of new things, I also enjoy playing fetch. I ride just fine in the car and will patiently wait for your return from getting coffee. I sleep in my crate at night with no problem, if I bark while in the crate that means I need to go potty. I'm working on perfecting my potty skills but I've made tremendous progress within days of being in a home. I would love to go to a home with another playful dog because I love company and cuddling but I'd be fine as an only dog, as long that we can go to the dog park a few times a week.
