Daisy 8

Daisy is a darling beagle/shepherd mix with loads of personality, approx. 1 ½ years old. Smart, eager to please, and very affectionate, she had a rough puppyhood and needs a home where she will get plenty of attention. She is full-grown at 35 pounds, and loves walks, tugging on rope toys with her human, and especially to be sprayed with the hose while she chases and plays in the water. Daisy gets very excited in the presence of other dogs and cats, and must be introduced to other pets slowly and with much diplomacy. She rides well in the car, has basic manners training, and gives puppy kisses on request. A high-energy little dog, she has a beagle bark and uses it, and unfortunately will find her way over almost any fence. Sweet but independent, she requires some patience and an owner who is a strong “alpha dog” figure – but she also lives to be petted and will lounge in your lap for hours. She is a playful, outdoorsy dog who gets overstimulated easily, and so is not recommended for a home with small children. Daisy is spayed and current on all shots.
