Coy is a super cute Terrie mix of sorts. We think he has some Doxi in him from looking at his long face and gorgeous shiney red coat!! He is young, maybe a year old or so and full grown at 35 pounds. He has the cutest and most expressive little face just waiting to make someone very happy! Coy is such a wonderful, sweet, intelligent little boy! When his foster mom and dad first picked him up at the kennel, he was so scared he could hardly walk and shook constantly. Now he has stopped cowering and has a blast playing with other dogs and even gets along with the kitties! Coy is so smart – he learned how to sit, lie down, give high fives, and walk on a leash just by watching his furry foster sibling. He even rides nicely in the car! The most striking thing about little Coy is how incredibly grateful he is for everything. His dark eyes will follow you everywhere and he loves nothing more than laying his head on your leg or offering his paw for you to hold. Poor baby may have had a rough experience with people in the past because he quickly gets scared if anyone raises their voice or hands around him, but he's recovering fast and learning about love. Coy is completely housetrained and would make a great inside dog with or without other animals or children. He loves to be outside if you or another dog is there with him, but if he's alone he'll sit forlornly and wait for someone to let him back in. He just loves people so much! Coy's foster mom says he's one of the best little dogs she's had the pleasure of meeting and hopes someone can give him all the love he deserves in a forever home.
