Please meet the sweetest, happiest, go lucky"est" fellow on the planet. The Scouts Honor Rescue volunteers drove up to BARC (the local hi kill shelter) the other day and the wonderful BARC volunteers were moving dogs from the wards to the runs. This fine young speciman of a hound doggie was in RUN number 2. When we drove up we were intense as usual but he caught each our attention from the get go. He stared as we would grab one dog after another, all of us knowing for darn sure that he was gonna go with us as we drove off. Once we got him from the run, he wiggled and kissed and jumped for joy. He was just a heart grabber you know how they can be.

Oh Snooter oh Snooter, please sneeze another way!

Oh Pooter oh Pooter, where is that wind when you need it today!

Oh Cooter oh Cooter, what a wonderful day when we saw your smiling face!

GOD has blessed you oh Cooter and you will find and wonderful forever place!

Cooter is some sort of (fantastic) hound dog, maybe mountain dog mix. There's got to be a mountain around here some place eh? He's on the large side at about 60 to 65 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative all super attributes of a fantastic dog right?

We initially drove sweet Cooter to our vet’s office for all his shots and tests, he immdiately made friends with the staff and other dogs as well. He is a real pro of a dog and is looking for a foster or forever home really quickly.
