Meet Conner! 

Conner was picked up as a stray by animal control in the town of Bay City, which is about an hour south of Sugar Land. Conner had been there for several weeks and unfortunately Bay City does not have a lot of money and just couldn't afford to hold him any longer despite absolutely adoring him. So, they sent out a huge plea to help him so he did not have to meet a horrible fate. When we saw him we just knew he needed to be a Scout's Honor Rottie! The staff in Bay City were very sad that Conner had not found a home yet and they let us know that he was the shelter favorite and that everyone had just fallen in love with him. 

Conner is between 3-4 years old, and is in pretty good shape considering he was a stray. He was already neutered and knows how to sit, so he had to be someone's dog at one point, although they apparently did not take very good care of this sweet boy. 

Conner is great with other medium to large dogs and kids.  He does doggie daycare regularly and loves to play with other dogs.  He's a very sensitive boy. Someone must have been mean to him at some point as he cowards down and whines whenever the vet had to restrain him to examine him when he came into our program.  It's so sad to see a big boy like Conner get scared. He is a true love bug though and once he trusts you he wants nothing more than to be by your side receiving/giving love. 

Conner lives in an apartment currently with his foster mom and her other dogs.  He is a little gentleman and his foster mom has no problems with him at all.  He's crate-trained and walks pretty well on a leash too.  He just needs a home to call his forever home!!
