Meet our sweet Cocoa! Many of you saw the pleas to save Cocoa earlier this week from the Laporte pound! When the shelter called yesterday morning and said they had no kennels left and begged us to save Cocoa, how could we say no? He had been a shelter favorite for some time now. Thanks to a couple of great volunteers, we got Cocoa up to Houston and into a foster home! His foster Dad said Cocoa is an absolute doll! He is housetrained and loves his roommates (another lab and a boston terrier). He got a hang of the doggie door in just few minutes after arriving to the house. He is one smart doggie!!!! He is calm and gentle natured and likes to ham it up a bit too. I think he can actually wiggle his little butt full circle when he gets excited! Every picture I have of him has his tail as a blur because it is constantly wagging along with his permanent smile on his face!! Cocoa is almost 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. His coat is a velvety dark chocolate and he is one handsome boy. With so many people pulling for him, I know he will find a home fast!!
