Meet our sweet girl Citrus!! A you can see from the pics, Citrus is one very sweet, pretty and happy girl! You would never know what a rough start she had to her short life -- she was just a cute little puppy when some mean people thought it would be funny to cut one of her ears off!! Yes, this poor baby has had one of her ears cut off - but you'd NEVER know, she just loves people and all you see is that happy, pretty little face!! Poor Citrus was then abandoned on the streets of La Porte where she was struggling just to stay alive when animal control finally picked her up. She was grateful to be off the streets and getting 2 square meals a day but we all knew this pretty girl deserved a shot at the good life and after all she'd been though did not deserve to die at the shelter so we rescued her! Now is being kenneled and waiting patiently for her new home to come!! Citrus is a white lab mix, approximately one year old. She is spayed, up to date on all of her shots and is heartworm negative too!!! She weighs about 35 pounds but is on the thin side and could definitely gain some weight but she should be full grown in terms of height. She is great with other dogs and just loves people!! This is one fabulous dog that will make you the best pet in the world :) Even if you can't adopt this sweetie, please consider opening your home to fostering her to get her out of the kennel.
