Chip is such a cutie! And boy are we lucky we found him!!!

He was at BARC, after being picked up as a stray. We asked about a temperament test for another dog and they introduced this sweet boy to him.  Well, we could not just leave him then. After all, he is a black, heartworm positive, older (only 5-6 years young, but we all know that is old in shelter world). We are so glad we got him.

He is vaccinated, neutered and will start his slow kill heartworm treatment next week.

Chip, obviously, gets along with other dogs, weighs about 55 pounds and is a black lab mix. We are still getting to know Chip but we have noticed he likes to talk (not actually bark). It is actually really cute when petting him he makes the funniest sounds.
