Please meet our handsome Chief! You might remember seeing these pounds pics when I was posting him from Laporte. He is now in our program and doing GREAT! I will have new pics of him shortly….he is the cutest guy around. Chief is a yellow lab mix, is 12-18 months old and right at 50 pounds. Chief came to his first training class this past Saturday and he is wonderful! He has clearly been someone’s dog before winding up at the shelter. Before we even started the class, Chief was already doing all his basic commands (site, come, stay) and behaving like the perfect gentleman. He has quickly become a favorite to our trainer and many of our volunteers! He is just a wonderful boy that gets along with all other dogs and loves all people! While Chief looks for the perfect forever home, he sure could use a foster home! I promise you will fall in love with this boy instantly just like I did!!
