Meet Handsome Chewy! And, boy, do I mean HANDSOME! Chewy was rescued from a local Animal Control. We believe him to be a full-bred Pekingese. He is approximately 2 years old.

Chewy is a VERY laid back guy. He isn't a lap dog or a cuddler; he kind of has an aloof personality, but is a lot of fun to have around. He likes short walks, soft toys, and soft treats. He also wants human food --he will dance around on his hind legs for it (who can blame him?). He likes his four-legged foster brothers and sisters, but he doesn't really try to play. He likes to just hang out with them.



Chewy is curious about his foster cat siblings, but not in a bad way. He is an escape artist, though, but his foster mom is working on that. He is housebroken and mastered the dog door in minutes. Chewy doesn't mind his crate, but his foster mom only puts him in there while unloading groceries etc so he doesn't escape. In fact, he will sometimes just go lie in his crate just to hang out. And the cutest thing? He snores!
