Chester is one sweet boy!!! He is just about a year and a half to two years old and most likely some sort of shepherd mix.

We were contacted about a trio of dogs living on one of the bayous. They had been there for 4-5 weeks!!! When we showed up to meet them sweet Chester came right over with his tail wagging. Not sure why or how but this boy still loves humans. We found out later that one of the families who had been looking after them had removed a tow chain from his neck when he first arrived, but had no place to take him where he would actually get the chance he deserves so they just did what they could.

Chester looked out for the two females he was with on the bayou. He would even jump in the car to hang out but then jump out when the girls headed away from us. He looked so sad when he had to leave.

Chester is in a foster home with 4 kiddos and another canine foster sibling and doing great!  He loves to give gentle kisses and rides great in the car!  To see his love for kiddos in action, watch THIS VIDEO!  He also has the sweetest little way of getting your attention with a gentle little howl.  It will melt your heart!
