Chavez is a young black lab mix, predominantly black but with flecks of brown scattered all over which the camera can’t show. He is approximately 55-60# and definitely underweight and probably still growing given the size of his paws. He was found in early February outside Chavez HS sadly cowering under the entrance to escape rain. He is not chipped, nor neutered but he has been treated for worms and fleas. He is great in the car, with kids and with dogs and cats. He is very much a puppy and loves to chase my other young dog for hours in the backyard. He is not a digger or a jumper and would be best served with someone who has time to train and exercise him. I believe he’d make a great running partner. He will bark at outside activity (other dogs walking by and such) but is otherwise pretty chill. He wants to snuggle and be loved on (don’t we all!) and never tired of affection. He is fine with cats too.
