Charlie 2

Charlie was recently accepted in to Scouts Honor Rescue, Inc. after a nice SHR volunteer found him wondering along the feeder off of I-45 and Shepherd. No one has come looking for this sweet little fellow. She thinks he was bumped by a car or maybe another dog beat up on him or something but no real serious harm as all the x-rays look good. One puncture wound which has been shaved and cleaned leads us to think a larger dog may have gotten after little Charlie. Once put in a kennel, he simply sat there until the volunteer returned without making a peep. He plays well with other dogs and kids alike. He is a gorgeous little pup still the same. He weighs about 19 pounds, has a big head, long body and stubby legs so maybe there is some corgi in the mix. Suspect he will put on some weight once he gets some good nutrition.

Charlie is fully vetted, neutered, micro chipped, heartworm negative and ready to start the search for his forever home and family that will keep him safe, well, safer than where he was before. If you or anyone you know might be interested, please let us know.
