Meet Champ!! He is definitely a fabulous boy!! And look at that face! How can you resist???? Champ was rescued from BARC (the city pound yesterday) -- it was definitely his lucky day but he is still looking for his forever home!!! Can you give him the family this sweet baby deserves??? Champ is about 1-2 years old and is a golden retriever and probably weighs about 40 pounds but is very, very thin and needs to gain some weight. Champ has had a hard life...we're not really sure what happened to him, if only he could talk...but it appears that he had been hit by a car and it wasn't treated....his injury has healed but he walks with a little limp BUT BELIEVE ME, IT DOES NOT SLOW THIS BOY DOWN ONE BIT!! He can walk and run just fine....just needs a family that will love him and take care of himself...something he has not had in his short little life. Champ does great with other dogs and loves people and kids!! He walks great on a leash -- we actually had a young boy who was volunteering help us get him loaded up and he was so so gentle and sweet. He is just a fabulous boy that just needs a family of his own!! Are you the family for this special, special boy???
