Please meet handsome Carter. Here is what he has to say about himself: My name is Carter. I am a dashing older boy (about 8 years old) with a LOT of love left to give. I am friendly and loving, and I am GREAT with other dogs. Think about me if you have an older animal needing a friend. I am from the Sugar Land Animal Control, where my time was up. I'm not real sure what kind of dogs my parents were, but I think I am a border collie/spaniel mix of some sort. I am about 60 pounds, am neutered (ouch!), have had all of my shots (ouch again!), and have been microchipped (double ouch!). I am an extremely calm fellow, and I ride well in the car, walk great on a leash, and get along with everyone I meet. My foster mom says I am the EASIEST dog she has ever had--I get along with my foster siblings, I am crate trained (although I really don't need a crate), I am house trained, I do not chew on things, I am patient, I am calm, I am loving, I am gentle and friendly--In short, I am the bomb! I am waiting patiently for my forever home, where I can lie on the floor beside my human's feet. If you want an easy dog, there is no question that I'm your man!
