Carl

Meet Carl! Carl was named after the children's book "Good Dog Carl", which has a big lovable Rottie as the main character. Our Carl is a super sweet guy who is very lovable as well. He is a young boy, only a year or 2. Carl was one of the 250 Rottweilers that were confiscated from Gatesville, Texas by the Houston SPCA. Scout's Honor was lucky enough to get daddy Carl, momma Belle, and their litter of 5 puppies, all of whom are happy and thriving now that they are out of that horrible situation and in good hands. Carl is basically a big goofball. He is super nice but not the most coordinated at times. He never had a name where he came from so he is still learning his, but is catching on quickly as he super smart (he's a Rottie after all!). You have to give him a break, he has only has his name for a couple weeks.

Carl is a big boy with an enormous Rottie block head!  He only weighs about 85-90 pounds right now, but still needs to put on some serious weight since he was not very well nourished before. If you love on him he will reciprocate, and loves to be petted. He's loves car rides too and wants nothing more than to be touching you.  He's super affectionate.  Right now he is doing so well, but would really benefit from a foster home where he can get the love and attention he craves, but was wholly denied in his previous life where he was used for nothing more than breeding. Although, he would really love you more if you gave him a forever home where he can stay and know that he will be safe and loved forever.

Carl is a healthy boy (other than being underweight which is easily fixed with groceries).  He's fully vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped.
