Meet Cali!  Cali is a super duper cute German Shepherd  /  Anatolian Shepherd Mix.  Cali was adopted as a puppy & due to hard times, the family thought it would be best to find Cali a new home so she could have the love & care she deserves.

Cali is a fantastic housedog. Totally housetrained, not hyper, doesn't chew on anything but her rawhide and loves to lay on the sofa with you. Cali is perfect on a leash and doesn't run or even walk very fast.  She would be a perfect dog for an older couple for that reason.  She just mostly lays around. 

The fosters have been working with her on the cats. She is still excited about them but she's getting better. It would be ultimately easier for her to go to a home with no cats but if someone had patience and a brave cat, we think they could handle it.  She's a bit of an alpha with other dogs. She's very quiet about it. She doesn't bark really. She just kind of pushes against them with her chest and head up. We took her to the dog park & she did pretty well. She has always lived with other dogs & is currently in a foster with other dogs.  We think she'd be just fine with other dogs in her new home as well.  Cali also lived in a home with kids, big and small, and did great!

Cali is 3 years old and weighs right at 50 pounds now.  She is a doll of a girl & looks forward to meeting her new, permanent, family right away!
