Meet Couch Potato, Miss Idaho, Tater, Spud, Foxxy Roxxy, Stumpy, or C.P. as we like to call her. You probably don’t have to wonder too hard to realize how she got her name. This poor sweet girl was turned into BARC by what she thought was her family.  She was scared at BARC and wanted so badly to get out. C.P. is an adult age dog who doesn’t have that much energy or the need or want to do a lot. She seems perfectly content just laying around and relaxing. In fact, when we got her to our vet we let her out in a play yard and she just walked around a bit and then just laid down in the sun. When we tried to get her to go in she refused to get up. We even put the leash on her and tried to gently pull her and she just laid there sprawled out refusing to move, enjoying her freedom from BARC. It took us a minute or two but we finally got her up and inside.

Now that she is with a foster family we are seeing more of her personality. While she hasn't gained any more energy, her loving demeanor is coming out more and more. Her foster mom has said that she is very quiet but loves to snuggle and has started to curl up at her feet. She also has learned how to go up and down stairs. C.P. will get little spurts of energy and will run a little in the yard, which her foster mom says looks likes prancing. While she may play a little and run a bit, she clearly does not like doing it a lot. So if you are looking for a couch potato that will just be your best buddy and hang out and watch TV with you all night, C.P. is your girl.  

She's a sweet little thing.  She's very well mannered and house-trained.  She is also good with low-key dogs and kiddos. 

We don’t know what kind of dog she is, but that doesn't mater when you are a cutie patootie like her. Best guess is she is a Corgi Mix and is about 3 years old. Won’t you consider sliding over a bit and making room on your couch for her?
