Buddy 3

Meet darling Buddy!   Buddy is a fantastic German Shepherd mix!  Buddy is potentially mixed with husky.  The vet says that he is 2-3 years old and weighs 52 pounds. 

Buddy was found (most likely dumped) in the country near Brookshire.  Apparently he had been hanging around for several days, through all the cold last weekend, and was not being fed.   Poor boy!

Buddy is now in Scout’s Honor’s program and needs a foster !  He is a super easy dog.  He is a true sweetheart and is friendly and smart.  He rides in a car beautifully; he goes right to the back seat and stays there.  We believe Buddy is house trained because he is so well-behaved, and he waited until he could find grass to go potty.  He does well with all the other dogs and cats at the vet.  He has no fear of people and loves anyone who pays attention to him.  He is very playful and knows how to fetch a bit.  And he loves to go for walks!

Buddy sits for his treats and then takes the treat very gently from your hand.  He walks well on a leash and looks back every 20 seconds to make sure that you are OK.
