Meet Buddy!

Buddy's story is a sad one that we seem to hear all too often. Buddy was someone's loyal companion that never did anything but be a good friend and family member. So one day Buddy's owners decided they were moving and that Buddy wasn't good enough to go with them. So what was their solution? They left Buddy tied up in the yard with no food or water and just left in this Houston heat. The neighbor noticed his plight and tried to help him and contacted us.

We got this sweet boy out of harm’s way, but now he needs a new home to go to.  He’s a big boy, about 75-80lbs, but as gentle as they come.  He’s very affectionate and loves to be close and held.  He will ever so gently jump up to give you a hug.  He’s just starving for affection.  He’s a quiet boy and would be a great addition to any home.  

He’s totally house-trained and has impeccable manners indoors.  He loves to go on walks and meet and greet people.  He’s also good with other dogs.  Just an all-around fabulous boy who would make a great addition to any family!

Buddy is 5-6 years old, but has a lot of life and love in him. We don't know what kind of dog he is but he is just a big fluffy, handsome boy – maybe a Retriever/Chow Chow mix of sorts.
