Meet Boss!! He's one handsome guy and an absolute love bug! Boss is a 2-3 year old Pit Bull Terrier with an exceptional disposition.

Poor Boss was living on the tough streets of Houston and wandered upon a half-way house where some really nice men provided him food, water and attention, which he so dearly craved. The men could not bring him into the house, but taught him to sleep underneath it to stay out of sight for fear the wrong people would take this beautiful boy for the wrong reasons. Fortunately, they contacted a fellow rescuer who contacted Scout's Honor and we could not let Boss stay on the mean streets all alone. She went to pick him up and he hopped right in her car and rode like a perfect gentleman to our vet's office. Boss is extremely friendly to all he meets and the employees at the vet's office just love him. He makes the funniest noise when you talk to him and he's in his crate - like he's actually trying to talk to you. He also loves to give hugs!

Boss is in pretty good shape for living on the streets, but he does have some skin issues due to fleas and poor nutrition that he is on antibiotics for. He has what appears to be some kind of chemical burn on his back-end, but it looks like an old injury and does not bother him in the least. He's just a happy go lucky kind of boy who wants nothing more than to be right by your side showering you with affection.
