Boogie 2

Meet Boogie! Boogie is a 2 year old, 50lb, Brindle colored Catahoula/ Greyhound mix of sorts.  In a few weeks we are going to know exactly what Boogie is, since we recently gave him a DNA test. We are excited to see what he is since he is such a handsome boy. Boogie's history is a complicated one. Almost 2 years ago one of our board members was at the vet checking on one of our other dogs, when a person brought in this cute little guy and said that he had been dumped. This person then began talking about euthanizing this little guy - he was only a puppy! Well, we were not going to let that happen, so Scout's Honor stepped in to help. Boogie eventually got adopted and was with a family for a while. Unfortunately, his family eventually claimed that they did not have enough time for Boogie, so he was returned to Scout's Honor. Poor boy had a family that he loved and thought he would be with forever, but ended up back in boarding because we had no available fosters when he came back.

Boogie is such a handsome guy who is just as sweet as he can be. He's very well behaved, house-trained, crate-trained and friendly. He likes most other dogs and loves people, including kiddos of all ages. He needs to be with another active dog because he is high-energy.  He is a sweet lovable, huggable boy.  He likes to cuddle on the couch with you or in your bed.  Boogie knows how to sit, stay, and fetch.  He likes to chase after a ball and Frisbee.  He is very active and likes to run.  He would make the perfect addition to any active family! So please consider giving Boogie a new home that he will never have to leave from.
