Meet Bolo!

Looking for a man to give you “gentle” kisses? Well, we have a man for you, our sweet, affectionate, and very debonair – Bolo. Oh, and did we mention he is tall, dark and oh so handsome??

Our boy Bolo was sitting at La Porte Animal Control about to be put to sleep due to capacity constraints at the shelter when we learned about him. We were told that he was a very sweet and smart boy, and we knew that we had to help him. As soon as we got him we saw how great of a dog he is. He rode in the car great and was giving kisses and was so happy. Bolo appears to be a combination of two exceptional breeds, a Rottweiler, Hound mix! He is about 60 pounds and healthy. He’s only a couple years old. He is super friendly and seems to like other dogs.

We also discovered right away that he knows commands when we were playing with him. He knew sit, stay and down already! Bolo is just a super cool dog that would make the best buddy for anyone. Please consider fostering Bolo, he is so loving and we know he would rather not be in boarding, but sitting with you getting some loving.

It costs the rescue about $400 a month to keep Bolo in boarding. Scout's Honor will continue to cover all vet care and other expenses. Bolo is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.
