| Remember the saying "you've come a long way baby". Well, that could not be more true of our little Betty. Born a street dog in the Heights, she, along with the rest of her family, lived a hard life. But then she and one of her brothers were caught after a month of people trying. They were both absolutely terrified. Betty's mom had taught her, and rightfully so coming from what she has experienced, that humans were horrible and should be greatly feared. Poor Betty was so scared upon being caught, it literally scared the pooh out of her. But look at our girl now!! Betty is your typical happy little puppy. She loves to play with the humans she knows and is working on being more comfortable with strangers. She absolutely loves other dogs, to the point that we really think she should go to a home with another dog. Being around dogs has really helped her to learn to trust and that it is okay to have fun. Betty loves to go on walks and chase butterflies or leaves. She makes it through the night without any accidents and therefore, has earned the right to snuggle in with her foster kids. She is an amazing, sweet little girl. Betty is approximately 4 months old, has been vaccinated and dewormed, and will be spayed soon. She is also micro-chipped. |
