Meet Betty!
This little cutie has been in her foster home for some time and while she loves all her “brothers” and “sisters” she really needs more attention than a mom of six can give her. Betty is a very active and a young terrier mix around 2 years old. She is full of energy and would make a great agility dog given the right training. Betty is also full of love and loves to snuggle up with everyone who comes in to her home. Betty was found wandering the streets of Garden Oaks/Oak Forest and looks to have been hit by a car and has an old wound that is healed. She can be very shy at times and doesn’t like all the noise and confusion of adoptions so her foster mom usually lets her slide on going to those which is probably why she’s been overlooked because she’s super cute, fun, gets along great with other dogs. However, it is certain from her behavior that she has not been treated so nice in the past and she sometimes cowers down when a hand reaches to pet her. Her foster mom would be happy to set up a meet and greet with anyone interested in adopting Betty. She’s hoping to find that special someone soon!
Betty is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Betty weighs around 20 pounds and is around 2 years old.
