Meet Bernie -- he will absolutely steal you heart!! Everyone that has met has fallen love and we promise that you will too!!! Bernie is just like a big teddy bear that you just want to love on!! These pound pics do not do this gorgeous boy justice at all - I promise, he is fabulous!!!! Bernie does FABULOUS with other dogs, he LOVES to swim and even does fine with the kitties. He is just a little angel that you will not want to miss out on becoming a part of your life!!! He was recently rescued from the La Porte pound after waiting there for a very long month! His life had not been very easy and someone had left a collar on him that was way too tight and it had grown into his poor neck but he didn't miss a beat and is all healed and there is barely a scar. He has an AMAZING disposition and is truly one of the friendliest, sweetest dogs I've ever met - just a doll. Bernie is the fabulous mastiff mix (although he also looks like a saint to me too without the thick hair -- either way, this is one fabulous doggie) that has been patiently waiting to be rescued!! He is about 1-2 years old, he weighs 87 pounds right now but could stand to gain a few more pounds. He has the softest pretty hair and he just loves to be loved on!!! He loves to be loved on and is so so sweet and well behaved. He is neutered, micro-chipped and has all of his shots and is heartworm negative.
