Meet our sweet boy Bentley!!  Bentley is a 3 year old Greyhound/Lab mix with one of the sweetest dispositions you will ever find – just a complete lovebug!  At about 40 pounds too – he is just the perfect size!  Bentley loves other dogs and tends to be very submissive towards them and has a special affinity for playing with little dogs!  We are not sure about cats but think he would be find with proper introduction.

Bentley is totally housebroken, doggy door trained and crate trained. Bentley is very smart and learns very quickly – he knows not get on furniture and he listens to your every command, you can tell him to go get in his bed and he does, you can tell him to go outside and he does that as well, he also sits on command. And is very eager to learn and highly trainable.  He loves to be challenged and to learn new things and be given new tasks and jobs.  At when its playtime, the lab in him absolutely LOVES to play fetch, especially fetching tennis balls.  He is also very sensitive and in tune with the feelings of the people around him, he just wants you to be very happy and did we mention he is one of the best listeners you will ever find.

Bentley is on the active side and needs a foster or owner that will make sure he gets the exercise he needs and take him on walks or jogs and make sure he has plenty of playtime and toys to keep him occupied when you are busy or not at home (this is a great motivator to keep his owner in great shape too).  He would also make the perfect running buddy!  Bentley will do best in a home where there is another dog that loves to play and can be his friend and companion and playmate!   He is also a dog that would love to go to the dog park or the lake with his people too!  He will make some lucky family the perfect companion.

Bentley is approximately 3 years old and appears to be a greyhound/lab mix and weighs about 35-40 pounds.  He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots too!  Bentley is currently having to stay at the kennel and would LOVE nothing more to have a foster home while he waits for his forever home!  Remember Scout’s Honor covers all of the costs of fostering, including covering the costs of all medical, heartguard and frontline, a crate and even food!  Even if you can’t adopt this sweetie, please consider fostering him!
