Friends please meet Beau!
Beau our Buff Bearded Collie mix who found himself at the dog pound this summer. We are not sure why this little old guy lost his way, but we gladly accepted him in to Scout’s Honor Rescue.
He is feeling 100% better now that his matted coat is gone and he is snug on the couch in a fabulous foster home. Beau has a great disposition, calm and gentle. We believe he is approximately 7 years old and he weighs 42 pounds. S
You can see from the photos at the shelter we rescued him from, that he is one shaggy dog when all his hair grows out- so, so handsome! His new home will need to have groomed regularly so that he does not become matted ever again!
Beau is not a barker, not a wild man, but a sweet, mellow boy who's favorite thing to do it curl up in a comfy spot and lay close. He loves other dogs and enjoys a good play session and run around the yard with them! We still don't think we have ever heard Beau bark! He is a very easy boy to have around.
Beau is fairly blind and mostly deaf, but has a LOT of life in him! He just needs an extra moment to get used to his surroundings when in a new spot. He gets around quite nicely & he had an absolute blast at the dog park!! Beau is a very cool little man who deserves a home that will love him forever and ever and ever!
