Bean

This is Bean “the Machine” Man.  He is a solid black full blooded Labrador Retriever. He was rescued from BARC (local shelter) on a recent pull by Scouts Honor Rescue.   He seemed quite beat up when we got him with several wounds to his face and legs, but he has healed up nicely and is doing well.  Bean is a quiet and calm boy, but after being spruced up at the vet’s office and given some medication, he is feeling better and ready to rock and roll in to his new home. Anything beats the dog pound he says! He is a smaller boy, but thick coated and short and compact. He weighs in at a mere 45 pounds.  Bean could use another 5 pounds or so and suspect that will happen with proper diet and some good loving. Bean man is approximately 2 to 3 years old.  We think (and to quote Mr. Bean ) he would like a fun home with lots of activities, some kids, maybe a pool and possibly fun hikes or jogs.  He is super sweet and would love his very own human!  In the short time we have known Bean, I foresee a VERY big snuggle buddy in the foster’s or adopter’s future.  Talk about sweet, sweet, sweet!
