Meet Basha (formerly Sweet Pea)!! Basha is one VERY LUCKY GIRL! She was one of the 40 dogs on "death row" at BARC and was rescued by Scout's Honor last Friday!! She is one very sweet and charming little lady that so deserves a home of her very own and a chance at the good life! Basha appears to be a yellow lab/shar-pei mix, she is medium sized - about 30-35 pounds but is very thin and so will probably end up weighing about 40 pounds but she will not get any taller. Poor basha had been living in a tiny kennel at BARC since JULY and is so ready for a home all of her own!! She gets along great with other dogs and loves cats as her foster said "She has already put on some weight and has declared herself the protector of our kitty. She is very curious - not a pest - just checking out everything we do." She is also kennel trained and well on her way to becoming housetrained. She walks good on a leash and has already learned to sit and heel!! So she's a very smart girl too!! Check out pic 3 -- ahhh, the smell of fresh flowers and FREEDOM at last!! Basha is up to date on all of her shots, has been microchipped and is spayed, she is heartworm negative and is on flea preventative and heartguard. She has also recently been dewormed. We charge an adoption fee of $125 to help us off-set the costs we have incurred for Basha.
