Meet Bailey,

Bailey is a 1-2 year old shiny Black Labrador mix. She is fairly petite at about 30-35 pounds, though her pictures make her look bigger than she is. She used to be homeless until she and William (her owner, who was also homeless) finally were able to get an apartment. Unfortunately, once they got settled in, it was determined that William was having health problems and losing his eye sight. William made the hard decision to let Bailey go so that he could focus on his own health.

Bailey is now enrolled in to Scout's Honor Rescue who is working hard to find her a good stable forever home. She is in perfect health, fully vetted, spayed and micro chipped, and heartworm negative.

Bailey is a very friendly dog who gets along with everyone, and wants nothing more than to please you and be close by. She loves to cuddle up in your lap! While she is still somewhat young, she is not rambunctious like many other young dogs. She is a smart girl too and knows a couple commands, and could probably learn many more if you worked with her. Bailey learns quickly, especially in regard to behavior (such as "Wait" when going outside). She comes when called as well.  

Bailey is very adaptable and easy going. She loves head rubs and receiving affection!  She also responds well to signals from other dogs and is very respectful.  She’s a perfect angel with cats as well!

Bailey so deserves a second shot at life, and would love to have her own family to cuddle with. Her temp foster mom says that she loves to romp around in the garden with her other foster canine sister and even does well with her 4 kitty cats.
