Baby Girl
Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) • Female • Senior • LargeMeet Baby Girl!
Baby Girl is a senior Black Lab that was recently picked up by Galveston County Animal Control. Baby Girl is microchipped but all of the contacts on the chip were dead ends. Because the shelter is totally full and because of her age, she was one of the first dogs on the euthanasia list. After hearing about how sweet she was and that she is probably 12 or more years old, we knew we had to help her and not let her end her long life in a shelter. She is just a really good girl that wants somewhere comfortable to lay down and spend her golden years. You can tell she had a family at one point in time that carried for her - no idea how she ended up on the streets. :(
She is a big girl and you can tell that getting up and getting around probably hurts a little. But don't worry, we have already started her on medicine to make her feel better. This poor girl has lived a long and full life, and just wants someone to giver her some love and a comfy place to stay in the time she has left. Please consider bringing this girl home and giving her the love she deserves. She promises to be a good girl and will love you forever if you give her the chance.
