Ava is a wonderful 2-3 year old lab mix girl. She is fabulous with other dogs and would love a home with another dog to be her best friend and romping and wrestling buddy.

Ava’s life did not start off full of love and kindness. She was at Harris County Animal Control about to be euthanized covered in mange and never having had a kind hand reach for her.  When you reached for her she just automatically screamed in pain. So she does take a little while to warm up.

But thanks to her incredible vets at Washington Heights Vet Clinic and her amazing fosters Ava is learning about trust and love and fun.

Ava is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped.
