April

Introducing Miss April! April is female white Lab mix. She is between 1 and 2 years old. She currently weighs only 36 pounds, but needs to gain at least another 5 pounds. April was rescued from BARC, (Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care) the Houston city pound, about one month ago. Her pups made it into BARC’s adoption program, but she did not. April was severely under weight. She was on an IV at the vet for several days as she would not eat. Today April is much, much better and eating up a storm! She has been vaccinated and micro-chipped, and will be spayed once she gains some weight. April is extremely sweet and loving. She loves all people and other doggies too! April will make a wonderful family member. She is ready for a foster or permanent home to give her the love she so deserves.
