Angus 1

Angus is a 2-3 year old male Rottweiler that was picked up by BARC walking along the Eastex freeway. When he got to BARC one of his legs was swollen and causing him pain so Scout's Honor got him out and to our vet for treatment. The doctor said that it appeared as if he had been bit and the wound was infected. Luckily it was not that bad and he got some antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine to treat it, and his leg and was fine in no time.  Now he’s just your typical goofball teenage Rottie!

Angus is a big boy at around 100 pounds, but is a sweetie. On the ride to the vet's office he stood up right behind our volunteer who was driving and gave him kisses. The vets and techs at the vets office all said he was a sweet boy.  Everyone he has met is just smitten by him.  He’s great with kiddos too.

While we haven't let him loose with other dogs, he has met other dogs and has been good when he met them. Right now Angus is boarding at a local doggy day care, but we know he would love to actually be in a home where he could get the attention that he wants.  He’s such a character!  At his boarding facility he likes to stand up so he can see out of his run when other dogs walk by.  He’s got such a sweet, yet goofy personality.  He knows “sit” and seems to be very well-behaved. 

Angus is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped.
