Meet our GORGEOUS STUNNING and SMILING girl Amber!  Amber is a gorgeous blue nose, dilute brindle American Pitbull/Staffordshire terrier.  Amber was found with 2 other young puppies running loose by a busy freeway when she was rescued.  She is a very well bred girl and is a stunning blue nose, with dilute brindle coat.  Amber is about 1 year old and is 50lbs.  She is short and stocky.  She loves people and is very friendly.  She is good with other dogs and will make an excellent playmate for another doggie too but will also be fine as an only dog.  Amber is young (and still has lots of “puppy” in her personality) and energetic and will make a wonderful exercise or walking buddy.  She is very affectionate and loves just being with her person and snuggling or hanging out.  She will make a fabulous, loyal companion for some lucky family. Amber is your typical young dog and would benefit from obedience training with her new family.  Everyone loves a well trained dog and we find homes are most successful when the new owner and dog attend obedience classes.  We also tested her with cats and she seemed to be ok with them but does have lots of energy and is still very much a puppy so would just have to evaluate on a case by case basis.  

When Amber was a puppy, it appears she was hit by a car or was involved in some sort of accident and injured her front paw and never got the medical attention she needed.  We’ve had it checked out by the specialists and there is nothing more to do than let it heal.  The best thing for Amber is to get lots of exercise and build the muscle in her leg which is really hard to do with her stuck in boarding so please consider fostering even if you can’t adopt.  She might always have a little limp but believe me, it doesn’t slow her down one bit!
