Meet Alvin!!

Just before Christmas we sent out a plea for a foster for 2 little cuties and we got one!  Another rescue helped several dogs in a puppy mill raid.  One of the dogs rescued was a Golden Retriever named Kate. Shortly after getting Kate, she delivered 12 little puppies.  WOW!  The majority of the dogs rescued from the puppy mill were German Shepherds and roughly 20 Golden Retrievers. It appears that the daddy to this group is in fact a German Shepherd! I think this will be a fabulous combination for a dog!  We took in 2 of the GSD puppies, Aimes and Alvin, to help out the rescue that has the litter.  Aimes had someone waiting to adopt him already, so now we are looking for a home for Alvin.

Alvin will be 9 weeks old on Monday.  He is FULL of personality.  He is very inquisitive and will definitely be a leader in the house!  Play, potty, sleep….play, potty, sleep. This is his routine and likely will be until he gets a little bigger. He has been doing great in the crate and with the housetraining!  He is a very, very smart little man.  Alvin loves playing with his little brother and we hope he will have a sibling in his new home!
