Alberta Leigh (Bertie) - CP

Labrador Retriever / Black Labrador Retriever (short coat) • Female • Young • Medium

*Courtesy Post*

Little miss Alberta Leigh, better known as Bertie, was found as she began her first day of school at Albert Thomas Middle. Of course, the jig was up when a teacher noticed her abundance of fur; and said teacher became her foster mom. Typical to middle schoolers, Bertie was very shy at first, but very treat motivated and is now besties with the biggest sister in her homeschool.

(Her favorite school lunch is shockingly meatloaf, thanks to Rachel Ray).

This sweet girl loves to take field trips to the park and ride in carpool. She has earned straight A’s in “playing with other dogs”, “leash 101”, “the bathroom is outdoors”, and “crate time”. Bertie has also unanimously won the class clown award (in a good way).

The school nurse gave her a clean bill of health - she’s heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccines.

Bertie is about 1 year old, spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines!
