Travis 1

Please meet our Parker & Travis!! These two angels were found at a nursery over Christmas where the caretakers had been feeding them and called Scout's Honor to see if we could find a nice warm and loving home for them. Of course we said yes!! Travis and Parker are beautiful Maine Coon (maybe a smidge of mix) brother and they look about as alike as twins can be .. .Travis has a small spot of white by his nose, but otherwise they look identical - and they're inseparable: wherever one goes, the other is right there with him. They have the Maine Coon temperament - tolerant, serene and quiet - and they have the most wonderful soft fur like a Maine Coon", i.e. they have a lion's ruff, long-haired "breeches" and a plumy tail. True to the breed, they'll probably grow up to be big cats - they're very big for their age as these kidos are only going on 6 months old. They're both perfectly potty-trained, just *love* catnip, and they work out regularly on their scratching pad. They have no bad habits - they don't claw furniture, they don't scream for attention or for food, and they're not picky eaters. Their personalities are a little different: Travis is a natural-born lapcat, friendly to everyone he sees, easy to handle, a cuddly snuggler. Parker is less trusting, but the more he gets loved on, the less of a scaredy-cat he is. Even now, he will come curl around your ankles at dinnertime, he will let you pet him and arch up to enjoy it more, and he's learning to let himself be picked up and handled, but seeing a hand coming towards him still scares him a bit- but we're working on it. They like to sleep piled on each other in a box, and when Travis is wrapped around him, Parker is much more relaxed about being petted. Because of this, we are going to have to insist that these handsome boys be adopted together only. Both are neutered, up to date on shots and micro-chipped.
