Ricky 2

Ricky is a gorgeous 3-4 year old, male, orange/white, long-haired tabby cat (looks to have some Maine Coon for sure too) at the clinic where I work. This gorgeous cat was going to be put-down because the cost to fix him (he came in as a blocked-Tom) was unaffordable. He was ultimately surrendered to the vet. He has been at the clinic for too long and needs a home. He plays peek-a-boo from the scrub sink with anyone who will take the time. He had (they lost his toy) a little feathered fish that I taught him how to play catch with and he was darned good at it. He rolls over in your arms for you to pet his belly. He loves to be brushed and WANTS his belly brushed. He will walk all over your computer while you are working. He loves to play in dripping water or a stream of water from the sink. And he comes with a one-year warranty. Now, you ask, why haven't we been able to place this cat???? Well, for one thing he MUST remain an indoor cat.... The other thing, although he has never met a human he does not like, he HATES dogs... really, really does not like dogs. He goes on the attack - hissing, spitting, slapping (he still has his claws), arched back and tail straight up. So, he has to go to a 'no dog' home. So, Ricky sits at our clinic and it is just too hard on him. He cannot have the run of the clinic because of his dislike for dogs. He gets shut up in his kennel in the back alot because when dogs are in the back he cannot be out to wander around. We really need a home for this beautiful, fun cat.
