Peanut 1

Friends, Please meet my wonderful fosters: Viva, Vegas, Peanut, Sock, Louie, Breyer, and Licorice! These cool seven are approximately 10 weeks old, are tiny at just around 3 little pounds, and were rescued from the Sugar Land Animal Control right before their time was up. They are from three different litters but are all like brothers and sisters. They are healthy, friendly, loving, cuddly. and litter box trained You simply can't go wrong with any of them! Peanut -- Peanut was found up a tree. Her poor little tail had been "degloved," which was a horrible sight. Degloving is actually when the tail gets shut in something (like a door), and she had to pull it free, pulling off all of the skin and leaving only exposed nerve endings. She suffered like this for quite awhile until I got her to the vet where they amputated her little tail. She had about a 30% chance of surviving the surgery and the recovery because they had to amputate so close to her spinal cord. Let me tell you though, it has not stopped her! She is happy and healthy and does not even realize she does not have a tail. Peanut is a beautiful grey with a pretty pattern all over her coat. She loves to cuddle and is very inquisitive.
