The vet has recommended that he take lysine to reduce the outbreaks. He'll probably need lysine for the rest of his life. Not to worry though, Forrest LOVES taking his lysine, it tastes so yummy! One of my cats also has the herpes virus. I'd be happy to talk to someone who is interested in Forrest, but worried about the herpes virus. Forrest is super sweet. He loves giving kisses & being held. He & his brother, Apollo, are always fighting for attention. Each will cry if they think you are paying more attention to the other brother.
