Button, Button….who’s got the Button?  Why, Button Bright, of course….that’s her cute little button nose!  And, look at those big BRIGHT eyes.

This lovely little girl was starving and desperate to eat from the feral cats’ feeding dish in foster mom’s back yard.  She let herself be picked up and promptly taken inside the house….never to return to the mean, cold, lonely streets again.

Button obviously had someone love on her in the past because she is so socialized, but, they didn’t love her enough to spay her.  At only seven months old, she was too young to have kittens….she is just a kitten herself!  She doesn’t mind being picked up and held, but, will growl like a doggie when she feels threatened.  Falling asleep on mom’s lap is such a pleasure. Button is very playful and loves her cardboard scratching post.  And, just watch her bat around and chase a stuffed mouse…such fun!  She is a curious little girl with an adventurous soul.  Attention and a good pet are always welcome.

She is adjusting to the other kitties in the house, and, is becoming more comfortable by the day.  Some of the other kitties have been trying to make her feel at home by grooming her.  Does she say, “no”….of course not.  Her foster mom thinks that she would probably warm up to another young kitty, but, she has not made friends with the 26-lb. doggie in the house.  So, any dog in her new home would need to be oblivious to her

Take a look at her little tummy…..is that a heart or angel wings?  Either way, her marking is her good luck charm!

She is up-to-date on vaccinations, has been dewormed, tested negative for FELV/FIV, microchipped and spayed.  Her birthday is approximately July 1, 2009 so she has plenty of kitten left in her!
