Meet our sweet Belle!

We received a call from a local shelter last month about two Flame Point Siamese who came from an abusive situation and were subsequently dumped by their owner.   The husband even threatened to kill them if they were not removed from the home.   So, of course, we could not abandon them in their time of need.   Tinker (f/k/a Sheba) and Belle (f/k/a Sugar) have been with us for over a month now and they are looking so much better.  As you can see from their shelter intake pictures, they were not doing so well.  However, now, they are happy, curious, loving and playful.  At one time, we thought they really needed to go to a home together; however, the more time we spend with them, the more we realize that they can be adopted out separately, given the right home and circumstances.  They are still tiny cats and Tink weighs about 7 pounds and Belle about 8.   They should not be in a home with small children or dogs.   A home with adults only would be preferable.
