My name is Amy Tan, I am 2 years old and I was found in Eastwood, a beautiful old residential area east of downtown, but not very nice if you are a scared, lonely, stray kitty trying to find a home. A really nice rescue person saved me from the streets and took me to the hospital. The doctor said that I have had a couple of litters of kittens, but I don’t know what happened to them. All I know is that I had a really bad cold when she found me and my mouth hurt so bad. The doctor saw that one of my incisor teeth was completely broken off and the other was infected. That was such a bad time in my life that I don’t remember what happened, but I think it’s better left in the past. They did some major dental work on me, but I am right as rain now and having a missing tooth hasn’t slowed me down one bit. My foster Dad said I am very affectionate and I have to agree with him. It has been so long that someone has loved me that I do tend to give little love bites because I am just SO excited to be petted and loved on. I like to give you a little nip also when you are freshly bathed coming out of the shower. I loves me some ankles. I get along fine with the other kitties in my current foster house, as long as they understand that I am the temporary queen bee (or kitty, if you will) until I am adopted. The only thing I am not very fond of is being picked up. Something must have happened in the past, something bad so I get scared when you pick me up. Therefore, I don’t know if I would like living in a home with small children because I know they like to carry kitties around and I know that I would not like that.
