Meet Tris!!

Tris was adopted previously to what she thought was her forever home but 6 years later found herself in a kill shelter!!!

She is the sweetest, most gentle dog you will ever meet. When rescuing her, anothe dog broke out and she was calm as could be and gave him kisses before we left. Once outside and safe, she just rolled over belly up and took a big sigh, relieved to be out of there!

Tris is so very happy to get love from anyone willing to give it. She will lean against you and once she starts getting pets, she slowly rolls and goes belly up just so you can reach all of her favorite spots.  And if you bend down, she will give you gentle little kisses just to say hello and thank you for petting her.  Tris knows commands too!  So far, we know she knows "Sit", "Down", and "Shake"

Tris gets along very well with other dogs and she loves kiddos, knows to be gentle and not jump on them. In her first introductions she got low to the ground and crawled over to the 3 year old little girl she was meeting. She rides well in a car and when she gets in she goes right to the backseat and lays down.  She is also crate trained and walks easy on a leash, not in a big rush to get anywhere.
