Meet Tom! 

Tom is a very sweet boy who is looking for a great home. He's between 1-2 years old and probably a chihuahua/rat terrier mix. He weighs in at a whopping 15 pounds.

When Tom first came to Scout’s Honor, he was pretty shaken up. His family dumped him, his brother and his sister in the road and left there not knowing what to do. There sister tried to get safe but instead was hit and killed by a car. He and his brother  Jerry  did not know what to do so they just sat on top of her trying to protect her but could not. Sadly, she did not make it to get rescued. But she will be in our hearts always.

Our poor little Tom needs a new foster or even better his forever home. Life has not been great for this little guy.   They both got into foster about the same time, which was great. But Tom is requiring a bit more than his foster had planned. Our little guy is sweet and cuddly, likes adults, kiddos, other dogs and would p robably be fine with cats too. But he does have some energy for good walks or lots of playing. He also needs help with potty training, pretty easy.

Tom is up to date on vaccines, scheduled to be neutered and microchipped and shockingly,  he is negative for heartworms!
