Meet our girl Pattie!  Pattie had been living in a bad area of Houston with her buddy Clapton in poor conditions for quite a while. Recently, someone picked both of them up off the street and took them to BARC (Houston pound). Unfortunately, when turned into BARC in their poor conditions, they were only given 72 hours until to make it out alive! We saw what had happened and scrambled to get the resources in place to be able to rescue them.  

They are now safe and resting comfortably, getting the care and love they need.  Pattie is an adult Rottweiler and weighs 70-80 pounds right now. She will need to put on a few pounds to fill out and get healthy, but she wont get any bigger as she is full grown.

She is VERY sweet and friendly and rides great in the car and did great on her freedom ride from the shelter. This lovely lady will love on anyone who will let her.  She's just the happiest girl, despite the horrible predicaments she found herself forced into.  She is great with her buddy Clapton and seems fine with other dogs in general.  True to her breed, she just wants to make everyone happy!

Pattie has some skin issues, but those will clear up with a little bit of time and medicine - it's just poor nutrition and bad living conditions. She is not contagious - just missing some hair.
