Special Urgent Foster Plea for Oscar, Rottie Mix whose Mom was killed right in front of him and he laid in the closet with her for hours until the police found them.
We need a very special person to step up and open their home and heart to this very special boy who will join the Scout's Honor Rescue family tomorrow, Friday. What this poor boy has been through is unimaginable and he needs our help!
We were contacted this week by an amazing lady and friend of the lady who wa s killed, about Oscar and his story and his Mom of over 7 years is tragic. You see Oscar's Mom was tragically killed in a murder/suicide right in front of him. The police found him in the closet with her. His Mommy was Oscar's life, they were bonded. Oscar is heartbroken, traumatized, and has been all alone in a backyard in Conroe since his Mom's sudden death last month.
He was a great family dog, good with kids and other dogs. He is very fearful of men and so shaken that we need a patient and kind person who can help bring him back to how he was. We can offer whatever resources necessary, trainer, etc., but think he would do best in a home and not stuck in boarding.
As you can imagine, Oscar has shut down and we desperately need a foster to help bring him back to the loving, playful, family-orientated dog he once was. If you are that special person PLEASE contact us at info@scoutshonor.org right away.
