We were able to bring Matilda and her two surviving pups into our program and get them the vet care, nutrition and the TLC they desperately needed. Matilda has obviously had a very rough life on the streets of Houston as she has multiple old fractures of her pelvis and legs, but she gets around fine and is active and playful. She loves to curl up and be a couch potato as well as discover new smells on her daily strolls. She wants to please her people and is so cute when she tilts her head as she tries to understand what you want her to do.

Matilda is such a sweet and gentle girl and is very low-key.  She rides calmly in the car and is good with the other dogs and cats in her foster home. She plays with the other dogs (the cat has rejected her friend requests so far) and enjoys sunbathing in the back yard.
